Project Overview

Drainage That Keeps a Busy Site Running.

A high-traffic commercial kitchen was losing hours every week to slow drains. Pipewise cleared the existing system, replaced the failing sections, and put a maintenance schedule in place.

Upgraded commercial kitchen drainage pipework

Slow Drains Were Interrupting Daily Trade.

Years of grease build-up and a partially collapsed run meant waste water was backing up in the middle of service.

The Challenge

  • Repeated blockages during peak hours

  • Heavy grease build-up in the main run

  • A collapsed section beneath the floor

  • Downtime affecting daily trade

“They worked around our opening hours and kept the kitchen running. We have not had a single backup since.”

A Full Clean, Then a Proper Upgrade.

We jetted the system clean, camera surveyed the full run, and replaced the damaged section with larger bore pipework.

The Solution

  • High pressure jetting of the main line

  • CCTV survey of the full drain run

  • Replaced the collapsed section

  • Fitted a serviceable grease trap

The Result

Waste water now clears freely at peak load, and a scheduled service keeps the system ahead of any further build-up.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before booking your plumbing service.

How long does a project like this take?

Most domestic projects on this scale run between two and five working days. You get a day-by-day schedule before we start, and if anything shifts you hear it from us rather than discovering it.

Will we be without water while you work?

Rarely for long. We stage the work so at least one bathroom and the kitchen stay usable, and any full isolation is agreed with you in advance.

Do you make good the floors and walls?

Yes. Reinstatement is priced into the quote from the start, covering plaster, screed, tiling and any driveway surface we had to open.

Can I see progress while the job runs?

Of course. Your engineer walks you through what was done at the end of each day, and we photograph anything that is about to be closed back up.

Is the finished work guaranteed?

Every project carries a twelve-month guarantee on parts and labour, plus the manufacturer’s own warranty on anything we install.

How do I get a quote for my project?

Send a few photographs and a short description through the contact form. We come back with an indicative range, then arrange a site visit to firm it up.
